Gaming Mode on PC / Monitor / TV

• PCs (whether Windows or iOS) typically have a gaming mode. There are further tweaks that can be made, but selecting the built-in gaming mode is a good place to start and results in fewer things running in the background and competing with your game.

• Most modern monitors (and even most modern TVs) have a gaming mode also. Many monitors and TVs are designed to have the best picture possible for viewing enjoyment, and these features can come with negative impacts to throughput speed and therefore gaming performance. Placing your monitor or TV in gaming mode should enable it to bypass some of the features designed to increase the quality of the picture that would normally come at the expense of delay.
