End game strategy in Fortnite

End Game Strategy

Wear down opponents, force them to use resources, knock them off their game, create scenarios so that fighting is on your terms. Don’t take on damage in dumb ways where it can be avoided.

  • Try to knock opponents’ builds and spray into their builds to force them to use up materials. If they are building high, potentially wait until they've used a lot of mats to reach height, then knock their build to waste more of their mats than if you chop them early.

  • If you are able to deal damage, they will also be forced to use up heals which reduces their ability to heal later.

  • Try to stop opponents’ rotation and hold them in storm as long as possible to deal extra damage. Especially in late zones, the storm will deal even more damage, so use the storm to your advantage.

  • Try to stay very close with your teammate at all times. This will maximize your fighting ability, your ability to protect one another while healing or reloading, and opportunity to trade or share loot as needed.

  • Avoid the storm. Pay special attention to new zone and be thinking about how to get there without taking storm damage when possible, especially in the last few zones.

  • Heal intelligently - use slower heals when you have the time and use quick heals when pressed for time. If caught in storm, make sure you balance the timing of your healing well to maximize the value it provides along with not falling behind in storm damage.

  • At the very end of end-game, eliminations are happening more frequently and all around you. If you can find a way to survive even seconds longer, it could improve your final placement, so find ways to delay being eliminated even if being eliminated is unavoidable.
