Piece Control

• This is a fundamental element of build fighting and something you need to get good at early in order to grow through the ranks and maximize your ability in build tournaments.

• When building, there are only so many places / spaces that a build element is allowed to go. Piece control is taking any or all of these areas around you or around an opponent first, so that you control the space and own the edit capability of each piece.

• It is crucial to prioritize piece control when entering tight spaces with an opponent.
• To practice this, we recommend Piece Control Maps by Bullseye
• Simply search “Piece Control” with the Fortnite search bar and select for your team size (solo, duo, etc).
