• This edit is achieved by placing a stair in a box that someone is in, then editing the stair to make sure they can’t get out of the box quickly or have the ability to shoot you.
• This can be achieved by catching them under the stairs but it is better to trap them above the stairs because it takes away their ability to edit down. If there is no ability for them to go down then either option works.
• It's better if this is your box, as they have less edit options, but even if it is their box, this is still effective because you can get a shot off on them while they are either breaking the stairs or trying to edit out in a direction that you have access to.
• This edit is considered part of piece control and can be extremely powerful because it is difficult to counter if the opportunity is left open.
