Fortnite Ch5:S4 Medallions

Medallions

Medallions offer a powerful (sometimes overpowered) ability and can sometimes make the difference between you winning or losing.

In Ch5:S4, there are only 3 primary medallions...

Doombot’s Siphon medallion gives 50 shield or health after each elimination (not just a “knock”). If you are max health but not max shield, it will give shield. If you are max shield but not max health, it will give you health. If you are not max in either, it gives you health first until max and then shield until max.

Emma Frost’s Reveal (marking) medallion is, in our opinion, one of the best medallions to have because it marks people that are in your area (within roughly 50m) for a duration of 15 seconds.

Mysterio’s Stealth medallion provides invisibility (cloaking), but is not one we recommend you carry. You have to crouch to activate it so it is limiting because you can't build, shoot or aim while you're crouched. It is helpful for camping as opponents can’t see you directly, but also unhelpful because it shows people roughly where you are on the map, via a circle of area that re-marks every minute, which can challenge your camping strategy.

When carrying any of the medallions, your general location will be marked on the map by a circle of area that remarks every minute, allowing opponents to have a feel for where you are and generally where you’re heading. There are pros and cons to this that you should think about based on your play style and strategy.

The more medallions you are carrying, the smaller your circle will be on the map, giving opponents more clarity in exactly where you are.
