Intro to Peeking
- In its basic form, Peeking is using the camera angle of the game to look around corners or edges without exposing yourself to be seen or be able to be hit.
- The most obvious peek to begin with is the right-hand peek. This means peeking (looking via camera angle) around the right side of an object (wall, building, vehicle, rock, tree, etc) while staying behind the obstacle and out of the line of fire.
- The right-hand peek gives the greatest level of visibility because of the camera angle always being behind and to the right of your character.
- For beginners, practice and build the foundation of right-hand peeks with items that are stationary in the game, (buildings, etc) and then begin incorporating it into your build battles by peeking around the right side of a wall (straight or slanted), cone, or stair.
- At first, just use this to see what’s happening beyond the wall or whatever the obstacle is...

- Then practice builds and edits from a simple right-hand peek...

- Then begin to incorporate taking shots from a right-hand peek...

Once you’ve mastered this and are able to hit opponents consistently without getting hit yourself, then move on to our modules on more advanced peeks that you can create through build edits and incorporate into more complex build fights.
