Basic Build Edits
Edits are used to modify your build structures to something more specific beyond the base element.
Each of the 4 main build types (wall, floor, cone, stair) has a number of different edits available:
- Wall
- Floor
- Cone
- Stair
A different number of edits may be required to achieve the motion or access you desire, depending on the builds that stand in your way, OR to take the space of a potential build/placement away from an opponent.
The number of pieces edited in sequence determines the type of edit (single, double, triple, etc)
- Single edits
- Most basic edit
- Examples
- Editing a floor, that was placed on top of a stair, to be something else
- Editing a solid wall to be a peanut butter (slanted) wall
- Primary uses: quick and easy shot potential, enabling movement through builds, opening a space to take a shot and then quickly closing it back up
- Double edits
- Still a relatively basic edit. However, practicing double-edits is the first step to improve the speed of your editing (increase muscle memory)
- Examples
- Double edit up with a cone and floor on a roof
- Double edit down with a cone and roof
- Primary uses: taking away competing building from opponents, enabling more complex movement
- Triple edits
- Like the name suggests, this is performing 3 edits in succession. Triple edits are the basis of editing in competitive play. This is a necessary ability and strategy to improve your winning in box-fights and a big part of build-strategy.
- Examples
- Editing a floor and a cone on top then a wall behind it is the most basic foundation of a triple edit
- Primary uses: taking away competing building from opponents, enabling more complex movement

- Quad edits
- Like the name suggests, this is performing 4 edits in succession.
- Examples
- Edit a cone into a stair and then perform a triple edit on top of it
- Quad edits are a place where you should establish your own creativity. Play with different combinations in-game to determine some combinations that support your style of game play.
- Primary uses
- Based on the creativity of your builds/edits, the sky's the limit. Being able to quickly build/edit different configurations for different scenarios will unlock the ability to establish your own fighting style or strategy. At the highest levels of capability/rank, you will be creating your own approaches.
